Why are you seeking election?
I am currently a BCITSA student councillor and a set representative of BCIT’s ABT program and have enjoyed interacting with students from different programs. I also work at the Student Association as the evening administrator where I have developed a bigger interest in helping students have a better BCIT student experience. I hope to be part of the 2017 student council to become more involved in student life affairs and important decisions affecting BCIT.
What do you hope to achieve during your term in office?
During my term in office, I hope to contribute in a positive way to the decisions made by our student council. I hope I can be part of the big movements and prospective projects that will be affecting student spaces and student life experiences. I hope to use my leadership skills to make students feel welcome and motivated to achieve their goals at BCIT
