Today the BCIT Student Association announced that it will be installing a Bitcoin ATM on its Burnaby campus. The moves comes on the heels of the launch of BCIT’s first Bitcoin club earlier this year. This new machine (provided by Newnote Financial Corp.) will provide students with even greater opportunity to experience the Bitcoin craze first-hand. “It is very exciting to see the advancements BCITSA is able to provide our student population,” notes BCITSA’s VP of External Affairs, Tyra Bermudez . “Having a Bitcoin machine is one of the many ways we are able to provide students with up-to-date industry and business trends.”
