Fashion week might have come and gone, but after giving you such a sweet taste of fashion life, we decided we couldn’t leave you hanging. So we’re adding a regular dash of style to Link’s online presence.
We’re very excited to present to you the first instalment of our new video feature series: Styled BCIT: With MissMikaylaG
In it, we’ll be bringing you regular fashion updates with our very own bonafide YouTube Star. That’s right – Mikayla, the star of these segments (and the brains behind the brilliant outfits) is a broadcast student here at BCIT. But in her down time (ha-ha), she rocks her own style and beauty focused YouTube channel with over 38,000 subscribers. Yeah, you read that right.
So don’t trust us when we says she knows what she’s talking about – trust those 38k dedicated followers.

Before turning to journalism, Simon dabbled in many things.
He earned an honours degree in political science, and still treats elections as if they’re the playoffs.
He nearly started a brewery, and remains a committed beer geek with a well-stocked cellar of vintage brews.
He was a cycling activist, who co-founded East Van Bike Polo and once pedalled from Amsterdam to Istanbul.
He was (okay, still is) a big ol’ nerd who loves pulp film and science fiction.
Now, he writes about these things and others. And he’s committed to bringing you one fine magazine all year long.
