Why are you seeking election?
I am looking to be elected for Chair of Computing and Academic Studies as it would provide opportunities to better the BCIT experience. At BCIT we are highly regarded in the technical field for our skillsets taught to students. I would like to help student’s exposure to the industry and help them promote themselves for the industry.
What do you hope to achieve during your term in office?
In my office term I am looking to achieve better communication between the students and faculty at BCIT. Communication is key, and any form of communication is useful to better student and instructor experience. To better the experience at BCIT, opening that channel of communication for students and faculty is detrimental to both parties and key in helping them both achieve more.
