Tucked away in the north corner of BCIT’s Burnaby Campus, is a little-known program having more fun that you are. These are the students and faculty of the Graphic Communications Technology Program (GTECH), headed by print industry veteran Wayne Collins.
With millions of dollars in state-of-the-art printing presses, including a brand new wing that focuses on large-format printing, vehicle wrapping and specialty packaging, one tour around this facility will certainly prove wrong one of today’s hottest (and innacurate) buzz phrases: PRINT is NOT DEAD.
