For our April issue, Ray Yu caught up with BCIT alum Var Bhalla, to talk about life after BCIT, starting his own production company (Red Line Media) and his upcoming documentary This Is Home which follows the destruction and rebuild of Fort McMurray after the 2016 forest fires.
“It’s a story with a different perspective, from someone that was born and raised there. I wanted the people of the community to really feel like this was their voice.”
