During Ski Week here in Finland – a week off of school at the end of February- I took off to Lapland to soak in life above the Arctic Circle. Check out the video recap below in Vlog #2 of my semester abroad here in Finland.
Fair warning: it’s a long one, and if you aren’t my mother, grandparents, a close friend, or me from the future, you may not find it as engaging. . Highlights include dogsledding, swimming in the Arctic Ocean, snowshoeing, sledding down Europe’s longest sledding hill, and a whole lot more. James is a recent graduate of the Marketing Communications program at BCIT, and is extending his time at the institute to earn his BBA. He currently lives in Helsinki, Finland where he is studying for a semester at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
